Why Is My Car A/C Blowing Warm Air?

Low refrigerant is common, but refrigerant does not normally get “used up.” If the charge is low, there may be a leak somewhere in the system. The correct repair starts with checking system operation, pressures, temperatures and the components responsible for cooling the cabin.

Why does the A/C cool better when the car is moving?

The condenser needs airflow to release heat. At road speed, air naturally moves through the condenser. When the vehicle is stopped, electric or engine-driven fans provide much of that airflow.
